I am posting this, because I have noticed that there has been an uptick of searches about this person; and they are leading to this blog.
When I am not writing about politics, my other hobby is Amateur Radio or Ham Radio. I have been a licensed Amateur Radio operator since 1989. I have written more about my involvement in the hobby; and you can read that here. As it says over there, I was also involved in another sort of radio and that is CB Radio. I even was once a dealer in CB radio gear. I sold stuff out of my house; I did this back in the 1990’s.
My involvement with Mr. Adair is related to a CB Radio usenet newsgroup, which is all but abandoned now, and it is rec.radio.cb. Doug for some reason had it out for me and I mean in a big way. I became an object of his trolling and harassment for years; and this goes back to the early to mid 1990’s. To this day, I have no idea what his issue was the me; nor do I care. I will say that some of the stuff Doug did, could have been considered federal offenses. I even kept records of his continual emails to me and his donating a penny to my Paypal account. I did have intentions of turning everything over to the FBI, if should the need arise.
Well, none of that matters now. On March of 2013, Douglas Adair N8WWM died of heart failure. I do not know what his age was. From what I understand, Doug had children.
Having said all the above, I want to state this for public record: I declare all feuds with Douglas Adair over, dead and mute. Doug is gone, his life is over; and as far as I am concerned, our beef is over. For the record, I never hated Doug at all. I just did not like what he did to me; and I highly disliked the stress he put on my parents, especially my Mother.
May you rest in peace Mr. Adair, wherever you might be this day.
