Well, my birthday came and went and of course, I got birthday money and I picked up some new stuff.
I have been wanting to buy this software since this guy decided to take his software to a pay service. I just never had the money. Well, I finally was able to do it. I’ll be ready for sweepstakes in November. 😈
I’ve been wanting one of these keys for many years; probably since I got my general class, which was 16 years ago. You see. there was a time in this country when virbroplex Morse code keys, were considered the Cadillac of keys and I finally was able to buy one. As you see, I got the dust cover, the key and cabling.
It was well worth the money; I’m glad I got it and it’ll come in handy during contests. My morse code “fist” is still a little rusty, I find myself having to unlearn some of the bad sending traits, that I acquired when I was using the Bencher BY-1. Don’t get me wrong the bencher BY-, is a very good key for what it is. But it’s not a vibroplex, which is why I bought it.
I hope I get lots and lots of years of use out of this key, especially seeing what I paid for it! 😲😨😄😆😉
