It’s half serious and half a joke.
I do need a amp for the summer months and for a better signal on 160, 75, and 40 meters; especially in the summer. So, I thought I’d aim high! 😉 Do expect anyone to donate? No. But, if they did I wouldn’t complain.
I’d settle for an Ameritron AL-80B. I’d prefer the one with the QSK in it. Here’s R & L’s price on one.
But, the Alpha? That would be my wet dream. ( 😯 )
