I picked up a new — well, new to me — microphone for the shack here.<\/p>\n

This is the Kenwood MC-60 Microphone<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The reason why I have gotten this thing is because my MC-80 microphone basically is 14 years old and starting to show it. Not to mention the fact that the audio on it, is just not that great. It also sometimes like to cause RF on my audio on 75 meters. Anyhow, a big thanks to my buddy John Sheets N8QGC<\/a> for the mic. It works great, and I finally sound halfway decent on this 950sdx for a change!<\/p>\n

Now, I realize that I could have went and spent some money on a better microphone. Here is why I did not do that:<\/p>\n

  1. I don’t have that kind of money!<\/li>\n
  2. See above<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This microphone’s price was right and I could not pass it up. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n
